Recent developments within Sathya Sai International Organisation Singapore

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Singapore,
Loving Sai Ram. I offer my humble salutations at the Divine Lotus Feet of my God, my Guide, my Mother Sai. I write this announcement to inform all Sri Sathya Sai Centres and devotees of recent developments within the Sathya Sai International Organisation Singapore (“SSIOS”).
Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation established by Bhagawan
In 2006, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba published a Divine Command for the establishment of the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation (“SSSWF”). The Charter of the SSSWF was prepared under Swami’s directive and guidance and was approved by Him. The SSSWF and Prasanthi Council have worked autonomously in accordance with Bhagawan’s Will since then.
The SSIOS, along with all Sri Sathya Sai Organisations outside of India, have been affiliated to the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation and cooperated with the Prasanthi Council. The SSSIO will never give up the Organisation created by Swami Himself.
Sri Sathya Sai Global Council established by the SSSCT
On November 23rd, 2020, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust (“SSSCT”) announced the formation of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (“Global Council”), a new organisation under its control. As joining the Global Council under the SSSCT’s Terms of Reference would have resulted in the dismantling of the SSSIO established by Bhagawan, the SSSIO rejected joining the Global Council.
SSIOS and the Way Forward
Since then, in Singapore, a number of Sri Sathya Sai Centres have registered with the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council. These Sri Sathya Sai Centres are disqualified from SSIOS as they are no longer affiliated to the SSSWF.
There will be no change in the structure and functioning of all SSIOS-affiliated Centres. All other service, devotional, and educational activities of the SSIOS will continue to function as usual.
The Sri Sathya Sai Young Adults Programme will also continue to function as it has been over the last few years. The SSIOS will continue to provide the platform, as previously done, for the spiritual development and growth of each Young Adult in Singapore.
The SSIOS will work with love and humility with all organisations and persons in Singapore so long as this is in accordance with Bhagawan’s teachings.
